In accordance with Section 833 of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act and Texas Government Code 2155.084, the Comptroller of Public Accounts - Texas Procurement and Support Services Division has approved the utilization of GSA Disaster Recovery Services and Supplies to be used to facilitate recovery from a Presidentially declared disaster, terrorism, or nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attack. Use of these contracts is approved prior to the events, in order to acquire products or services to be used to facilitate recovery. State or local entities that want to receive reimbursement from FEMA public assistance grants need to ensure that they are following the Stafford Act and FEMA public assistance program preferences and procedures.
